covering the myrtle fire.
I arrived at the scene of the Myrtle Fire when it was zero percent contained. Over several days, the Myrtle fire consumed more than 10,000 acres and forced dozens to evacuate. The fire only burned a few structures, but it came within a mile of the small town of Pringle, famous in these parts for its pile of bicycles.

The Myrtle fire a few days later when it was 75 percent contained.
