another year, another easter.

Easter came and went this April and every year the festivities offer it's own visual variation to the holiday. This post includes two pictures from an Easter egg hunt and a guy I saw in front of my house on Easter morning doing test runs for the Bring Your Own Big Wheel Race later in the day (I took this picture with my cell phone and it's my new favorite picture on my Instagram feed)!

I took a job with the Fairfield Daily Republic and I am excited to be back in the Bay Area. I have a new website and a new blog, but I plan to keep my this blog going for archive purposes. I want to keep this site up because it includes all the photographs I have deemed significant since I started my photojournalism courses in graduate school. The pictures above are from an Easter Egg hunt earlier this year.
