Rev. Frederick Reese spoke in Rapid City on Sunday. Reese helped organize the Selma, Ala., marches in 1965. The first march, known as “Bloody Sunday” produced some of the infamous images of police brutality. On the third march, Reese stood next to King and his wife, Coretta, as they spent five days walking 51 miles from Selma to the capitol in Montgomery.
