Members of the Dravosburg Fire Department put out a fire at the old water treatment plant in Duquesne, Pa. While the closed-down building was being demolished, burning cross-beams started the two alarm commercial fire, which caused no injuries or casualties.

law enforcement officials held a motorcycle ride benefit for three pittsburgh zone 5 police officers gunned down in may. because of another assignment, i was only able to photograph the pre-ride.

brad roberts hugs his wife, lisa, and son, landon, after winning the co-angler's division of the forrest wood cup. this is roberts' first professional fishing tournament win.

its a little strange, these fishermen wear sponsors like nascar drivers and they fish in the morning. then in the evening they hold a weigh-in at mellon arena and announce the winners.

Jody Van Varenberg, owner of Today's Tots daycare center in Washington, PA, has not received her June and July monthly payments from the state government. If Van Varenberg cannot find a way to pay the bills, Today's Tots, which offers some of the cheapest rates in Washington County, will shut down.

at 8:15pm on august 4th, an armed male in his 40's opened fire inside a dance class at the la fitness in bridgeville, pa, killing three patrons and injuring another nine. all the victims were women. exactly one week later, mourners held a candlelight vigil to remember the loss of elizabeth gannon, heidi overmeier and jody billingsley.
